TissuePatch for leak prevention in Head and Neck Surgery – New Clinical Evidence

Next week Mr Leo Cheng,  Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial, Head and Neck Surgeon from the Royal London Hospital (UK) will be delivering a poster presentation at the Annual meeting of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) in Edinburgh (2-4th July ’14).

Mr Cheng will present his use of TissuePatch to prevent leakage of blood and other fluid in a series of patients undergoing glandular surgery in the head and neck.  Further details will be provided on this website after the data has been presented.

This latest data follows on from a recent publication in the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2014), describing the use of TissuePatch in the management of chylous leaks in major neck surgery.  Electronic copies of this paper are available to download freely here.
