Tissuemed has announced that a key patent has now been formally granted 9 months after its original posting. The patent relates to TissuePatch2, which is considered background intellectual property and covers fundamental elements of the company’s adhesive Terpolymer technology.
As Nick woods, Tissuemed’s CEO stated when the original grant was made; “Tissuemed has always had a policy of robustly protecting its technology and it is always gratifying to receive these notifications as they confirm the claim that what we have is a novel and unique proposition.”
