TissuePatch sealant film is the result of years of research and development. It exists because surgeons told us they need to be able to seal internal suture and staple lines against post-operative leakage of blood, other fluids or even air.
Tissuemed’s highly skilled chemists developed the concept of a very thin, self-adhesive, resorbable film that would bond to the surface of internal tissues. With a non-adhesive upper “barrier” surface, the ultra-fine film also prevents adhesion of overlying tissue to the operative site.
