This year’s autumn meeting of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), held in York last week, provided the perfect opportunity for Tissuemed to showcase its portfolio of products.
The company’s innovative TissuePatchDural sealant film, which has been making waves in Neurosurgery for a number of years now, has been augmented by the addition of a dural substitute, LyomeshNeuroVR.
The SBNS event was one of the first at which the product has been shown in the UK, and comments from the neurosurgical community were very positive, especially regarding its suturability.
Head of Sales Peter Maver said; “While our proudest achievement remains the development of TissuePatchDural surgical sealant film, it’s great to be able to offer a dural substitute alongside it, especially when it gets such positive feedback.”
