Two weeks ago surgical sealant film expert Tissuemed announced that it had been shortlisted in the Medical / Life Sciences category for B2B media company Insider’s ‘Made in Yorkshire Awards 2017.’
The awards event took place last night (20th April) and we’re delighted to announce that Tissuemed won, beating off competition from other shortlisted candidates including BetterYou, Ethoss Regeneration, Brandon Medical, Innovate Orthopaedics and Malosa Medical.
The judges said that “Tissuemed has been innovating for many years and could now be on the verge of cracking the world after receiving regulatory approval from the Chinese FDA for its surgical patch. Tissuemed beat off huge global companies to get that approval and it took many years of trying.”
Next week sees the UK’s National Medilink Awards taking place in Coventry, for which Tissuemed qualified by winning the regional award back in early March as we reported here.
